Katarina Labancová | Trainee

Katarína is a master’s student of cognitive neuroscience at Radboud University. She is interested in inference, learning and information processing under conditions of uncertainty from both computational and physiological perspectives. Previously, she studied neuroscience and chemistry with a splash of linguistics at University College Utrecht. Her bachelor’s thesis investigated the role of entropy in generalization and rule-learning. Katarína joined the lab to work on her master’s thesis internship under the supervision of Elena Mainetto. She works on Elena’s project investigating the role of dopamine in linguistic inference and planning. The project combines psychopharmacology, linguistics, decision neuroscience, fMRI methodology and computational modelling.
