Mahur Hashemi | Alumna

Mahur Hashemi obtained a bachelor degree in psychology at the university of Twente. As a  student in the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Master Programme she completed her master's thesis  on the role of dopamine in modulating the relationship between reward processing and pathological gambling. 

Currently, she works as a research assistant in Ivan Toni's group (Donders Institute, Nijmegen) on postural instability and gait disability in Parkinson's disease. She also has a part-time research assistant position in Karin Roelofs' group (BSI, Nijmegen) where she works on human freezing responses and fight/flight decisions in a shooting task.
