ANNIE TRUEMAN | TRAINEE

Annie Trueman obtained her bachelor’s degree in science and Techniques of Cognitive Psychology at University of Trento, Italy. Here, she worked with the Cognition Across the Senses (CAtS) lab on a project regarding the validation of a test of lip reading and speech comprehension thought for hearing and deaf people. This project was the subject of her bachelor thesis: “LIP-IT: lip reading in Italian test”.

Currently, Annie is obtaining her master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Radboud University, Nijmegen. Her internship is with Egbert Hartstra as part of the controllability project. Particularly, she is looking at the balance between large-scale brain networks in face of stress, and how this balance is influenced by one’s own belief about control.. ​
