Asma Fadil | TRAINEE

Asma Fadil holds a bachelor degree in medical/biomedical sciences from University Paris Est Créteil (UPEC) and is currently a second year master student in the International Neurosciences master program at Université Paris cité. She has completed several research internships in the field of neuroscience including Neurodevelopment, Neuroinformatics and Computational Cognitive Neurosciences in Paris. During her last internship, she participated to the development of a computational model, simulating specific spatiotemporal dynamics in the primary visual cortex, explaining perceptual competition in Binocular rivalry.

She joined Roshan’s lab in January 2025 as a trainee for her master thesis under the daily supervision of Helena Olraun. She will be participating to the pharmaco laminar fMRI study investigating the dopaminergic mechanisms in Working memory gating. In parallel she will be investigating the role of the striatum in Working memory gating with ultrahigh-resolution fMRI data.
