Ilke van Loon completed an undergraduate degree in Bèta-Gamma with major Psychobiology and the Cognitive Neuroscience Master at the University of Amsterdam. During the final research project of her master's she investigated the influence of both dopamine and serotonin levels on reversal learning. After graduating, she worked as a research assistant at the AMC where she studied the neural correlates of emotion regulation. Currently, she works as a research assistant with Esther Aarts, where she is involved in two food studies.
