Jennifer Swart | PhD Student
Jennifer Swart completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology and the Psychology Research Master, at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in Brain & Cognition. During her master's research project she studied with EEG how temporal information predicting conflict influences cognitive control, and specialized in time-frequency analyses. She continued working as a research asisstant with Hanneke den Ouden, studying the role of serotonin and dopamine in activation and motivation. During her PhD she focused on the electrophysiological processes in the brain that enable people to overcome their affective biases. Jennifer is currently working as a data scientist at the Dutch Centraal Bureau voor statistiek (CBS).
